👁‍🗨Blinkkkk.., if you are a Human👁‍🗨

Heyy Overlookers!! Welcome Back.

Ever wondered, why do you blink your eye?—the most underrated, yet completely essential thing you do all day.

No Right.

Then, Let’s dive in.

Amongst all our body-organs, eyes are the most sensitive ones that require special protection which gets facilitated by Blinking. So, when you blink your eyes, the eyelids move up and down which stimulates the tear glands below the upper eyelid. As we close our eyes, these glands secretes a salty liquid which lubricates the eye and prevents them from getting dry.

This liquid is mainly secreted to destroy the invading germs such as dust particles that enter your eye.

Fun Fact -: On an average, a human blinks once in every 6 seconds, which means in the course of your life, you may blink your eyes for approx 250 million times!!

Not just this, it’s also like a tiny power nap for your brain. That's right, each blink is a split-second "mental reset" that helps your brain to refocus.

But here’s the wild part: blinking isn’t even consistent. You blink less when you’re concentrating hard (like when you're watching a thriller scene of a movie), and more when you’re nervous or stressed, So next time you catch yourself staring wide-eyed at a spreadsheet, give yourself—and your eyes—a break. Blink it out!

Your eyelids are doing more than just stopping you from looking like a creepy statue; they’re saving your vision, hydrating your eyeballs, and giving your brain a well-deserved coffee break. Respect the blink, my friend—it’s the unsung hero you didn’t know you needed!

P.S. -: If you ever find yourself in a staring contest, just remember: blink early, blink often, and make it look like a strategic move! Who knows, you might just start a new trend in competitive blinking. “I didn’t lose; I was just demonstrating the importance of hydration!”

Keep Blinking, my friend,
